Every year your support helps children in foster care and children in our Adopted Family program have the necessities they need to begin their new school year. While brand new backpacks are our number one need, there are always a multitude of other items needed in order to help support children in all grades (K-12).
Our goal each year is to create one hundred grade appropriate school supply bags to accompany brand new backpacks. Through out contacts at DCF and Covenant-to-Care, your support also helps to fill specific requests from time to time for clothing needs.
We collect brand new school items all year long and create supply bags as often as supplies are available. School supplies are mainly donated in July and August as children head back to school, however, your year long donations ensures that we have supply bags ready anytime a special request comes through. Thank you for keeping your eyes open for deals throughout the year! Our #1 need is always backpacks, however, any and all school supplies are always appreciated!

One item makes a difference and keep in mind that in July and August the deals are amazing! If you want to make up your own Supply Bags, feel free! This is a great project to do as a family or with a group. We always use Gallon Zip Lock bags so our contacts can easily see what items are inside to match them up to children in the appropriate grade! Thank you.
