"From the Heart" believes that every child is special.  Our mission is to supply the everyday necessity items to children and teens through our long-standing foster care contacts.  Throughout the years, you have helped us donate hundreds of gift bags filled with personal care items and toys and many other items that are listed below.  We donate every month which means we are constantly creating gift bags and we hear quite often from our contacts in between pick ups so we can be sure we are collecting items that are most needed that month.  

Our most donated items and items we are always seeking donations of are:

• Age appropriate gift bags filled with personal items (toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, deodorant, shampoo, shower gel, face wash, etc) , small toys and a multitude of other items (see pictures below)
• Back-to-School supplies and Backpacks (please see our back-to-school drive for a listing of items we are always collecting - feel free to make up your own back-to-school supply bag ready for donation which is always a big help!)
• Hats, Mittens, Scarves, Socks, Coats, Snowsuits, Snow pants, in brand new condition 
• Brand new blankets: fleece, knit, crocheted,  sewn or store purchased (see our "Squares of Care" Program under "Our Projects"/Drives for a way to help us create blankets together)
• Brand new pillows and pillow cases
• Brand new or excellent condition (washed) Twin Size bedding sheets
• Gift cards for clothes (most requests are for Target, Wal-Mart, TJMaxx-Marshalls, Kohls)
• Brand new Stuffed Animals (any size)
• Diapers/Pull Ups (Any  Size)
• Easter Baskets, summertime “Fill-A-Pails”, holiday requests…and a variety of individual requests of items from our long-standing contacts (Please see On Going Collections) for more info on the types of toys etc we collect!
